Kulturrådet har beviljat Västra Götalandsregionen utvecklingsbidrag för en förprojektering av ett "Utvecklingscentrum för samtida musik- och ljudkonst i Västsverige". Arbetet inleds under hösten 2011 och projektet kommer att ledas och genomföras av GAS-festivalen, Musik i Väst och Kalvfestivalen.
