Lisbeth Diers [DK]
Lisbeth is one of the most interesting and sought after Danish percussionists at the moment. She has previously played with musicians such as Anders Jormin, Don Elias and Django Bates and has appeared on more than 60 albums. Lisbeth is one of three percussionists participating in GAS FEST 2011.

Dungeon Acid [SE]
Behind this moniker hides none other than the legendary Jean-Luis Huhta, former member of classical Gothenburg outfits such as Cortex, Anti Cimex and Lucky People Center. He has also released music under his own name and is currently a member of the rock/drone behemoth The Skull Defekts that are currently mid-way through a US tour. But make no mistake, Dungeon Acid is all about acid music. Jean-Luis will take part in the ensemble concert and then later, at 01:30, he will take over the DJ booth from Dimitrios K. Those of you who’ve seen Dungeon Acid before knows this will be legendary!

Igor Lintz Maués [BR/AT]
Originally from Brazil but nowadays living in Austria. Igor works within electronic composition and he is also a teacher at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. Laptop, noises, sound and crackles.

Jonas Larsson [SE]
Jonas is a percussionist educated at Högskolan för Scen och Musik in Gothenburg. In 1995 he initiated the ensemble Gageego that ever since has been one of the most important Swedish ensembles for contemporary music. When playing he often uses, in his own words, “a tub”. Fredric Bergström [SE]
Fredric is a veteran as far as GAS goes. He has previously performed at the festival as well as been working with the festival web site. He is investigating the possibilities of the Hurdy Gurdy within genres such as drone and noise. Never bland, always good.

NICE MOMENT [SE]
Relatively new duo from Gothenburg consisting of Finn Loxbo and Petter Wästberg where electronics, contact microphones and feedback meets acoustic guitars and amplified saw. This is definitely a must-see!

In addition to this we will also treat you to two local DJ’s, namely Matthias Andersson and Petter Ottosson. Matthias is the man behind the label Release The Bats and also one of the forces behind the venue Utmarken. Petter co-founded and wrote for the Swedish site Fat Bankroll. He now runs the excellent Fangbomb imprint and he is also responsible for the design and layout of the poster for GAS FEST 2011!
