2007

About the festival
The fifth edition of the GAS Festival was held between October 2-7 2007 and hosted regular concerts, headphone concerts, installations, exhibitions, performance pieces, seminars etcetera. The subtitle for the festival was Explorations in Music And Sound! The were concerts held in regular concert halls and venues, at the city library, outside, in an exhibition hall and even in an apartment. One of the focuses for the festival was young sound art from the western parts of Sweden surrounding Gothenburg. Another was to highlight the collaboration between various promotors, musicians and records labels in Gothenburg.
